Abstract
- A recent report from Columbia University discusses the role of Nde1 phosphorylation in interkinetic nuclear migration and neural migration during cortical development. The study found that Nde1 plays a crucial role in brain development, particularly in regulating nuclear oscillatory behavior in neural progenitor cells. Mutant forms of Nde1 were shown to impact mitosis and neuronal lamination, shedding light on its significance in neocortical development and disease. This research provides new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying brain development and related disorders. [Extracted from the article]
