Abstract

A recent report from the Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment (IRCCS) discusses the impact of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) on the quality of life of pediatric patients. The study highlights the need for early diagnosis, education, and psychological support for both pediatric and adult patients with HS. A multidisciplinary approach involving specialists and primary care providers is recommended to improve care and manage comorbidities and psychological issues in patients with HS.
