Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Geneva University Hospitals explored the impact of acne vulgaris on the quality of life and mental health of adolescents. The research found that factors such as physical activity and social support were associated with better acne-related quality of life and improved mental health outcomes. Conversely, excessive screen time and social media use were linked to lower quality of life and increased psychological distress among adolescents with acne. Dermatologists are encouraged to consider these findings in clinical practice to provide effective care for patients. [Extracted from the article]
