Abstract

The African American Alliance on Homeownership, celebrating its 25th anniversary, has assisted over 1,000 Black households in purchasing homes through counseling, education, and down payment assistance. The organization focuses on developing affordable housing in historically Black neighborhoods and addressing racial disparities in homeownership. Metro promotes equal opportunity for all businesses, including minority, women-owned, emerging small businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, in its projects.
