Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at Bushehr University of Medical Sciences in Iran explored the effects of coffee and caffeine on patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The study, which reviewed eight relevant studies, found that while there was no significant association between coffee/caffeine intake and disease disability, there was evidence of improved cognitive outcomes in MS patients. The researchers cautioned that due to limitations in the evidence, such as the small number of studies and diverse study designs, the findings should be interpreted with caution in clinical practice.
