Abstract

A study conducted at the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna, Austria, focused on the development of a pressure-sensitive pen and mobile application, Sensogrip, to assist children with handwriting problems. The research aimed to gather user perspectives from pediatric occupational therapists, educators, and children to identify requirements for the device. Key findings included the importance of visual feedback, size, weight, customizability, ease of settings, and usability of the pen. The study concluded that the device could potentially help children adjust their handwriting pressure and guide further research and evaluation in this area. [Extracted from the article]
