The research highlighted the prevalence of social phobia as a psychiatric disorder often accompanied by other mental health conditions like depression and substance abuse. The study aimed to explore the role of serotonin in the development of social phobia and evaluate the effectiveness of pharmacotherapies based on serotonin metabolism.
