Abstract

A study conducted at the University of Miami analyzed the incidence of surgical intervention in veterans treated with Collagenase Clostridium Histolyticum (CCH) for Peyronie's disease. The research found that only 3.3% of patients received secondary surgical therapy after CCH, with residual curvature being the most common reason for additional treatment. The study highlights the need for further research and treatment options for patients who do not respond effectively to CCH. [Extracted from the article]
