University of Belgrade Faculty of Pharmacy Researcher Publishes Findings in Public Health (Vaccination health literacy: cultural validation and pilot testing of the HLS19-VAC instrument).

A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Pharmacy focused on vaccination health literacy (VHL) in Serbia. The study involved translating and culturally validating the HLS19-VAC questionnaire, which was used to assess VHL in a pilot study with 439 respondents. The results showed that 15% of participants had problematic VHL, while the majority had sufficient or excellent VHL levels. The study concluded that the HLS19-VAC_RS questionnaire is culturally appropriate for assessing VHL in Serbia and further population-level testing is needed. [Extracted from the article]
