Studies from Lund University Update Current Data on Audiology (An Evaluation of the Psychometric Properties of the Short Form of the Speech, Spatial and Qualities of Hearing Scale in Swedish: Online Versus Paper-and-Pen).

A recent study conducted at Lund University evaluated the psychometric properties of the Swedish short form of the Speech, Spatial and Qualities of Hearing Scale (SSQ12) in both paper-and-pen and online formats. The research, which included participants with and without hearing problems, found that the questionnaire could be used interchangeably in both formats. This study suggests that the Swedish SSQ12 could be a valuable tool for Swedish audiologists in understanding individual experiences of hearing loss and evaluating hearing rehabilitation.
