Abstract
- Researchers from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, conducted a study on the effects of art and dance therapy on Parkinson's disease (PD) patients' caregivers. The study involved group art therapy, group dance movement therapy, and co-group therapy sessions for patients and caregivers. Results showed that depression scores improved significantly in caregivers post-intervention, indicating that art and dance therapy can benefit both PD patients and their caregivers. This research was peer-reviewed and published in The Arts in Psychotherapy journal. [Extracted from the article]
