Abstract
- The article discusses a study on capillary function and aging, using video capillaroscopy to measure capillary reactivity and stiffness by applying pressure to the finger. The research found that participants aged fifty and over had higher median velocity in their capillaries compared to those under fifty, with age being a significant factor independent of blood pressure. The study suggests that this method could potentially be used to diagnose and evaluate vascular diseases in the future. [Extracted from the article]
