Abstract

Researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong conducted a study on the influence of religious beliefs on bullying and cheating among secondary school students in Hong Kong. The study involved 727 students aged 16 to 18 and found that high religious faith was associated with a negative attitude towards academic cheating. However, religious faith did not significantly impact students' behaviors related to academic cheating and bullying. The researchers suggest that religious education in schools may still be beneficial in discouraging unethical behaviors among students. [Extracted from the article]
