Abstract

A recent study conducted at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, Thailand, focused on the development of a bivalent nanovaccine to prevent Streptococcosis and Columnaris diseases in Asian seabass aquaculture. The research involved orally immunizing fingerling fish with the nanovaccine, resulting in increased immune responses and disease resistance. The study concluded that the nanovaccine effectively stimulated the immune system to provide protection against both diseases in fish. Funding for the research was provided by the Thai Union Feedmill Public Company Limited and the National Science and Technology Development Agency. [Extracted from the article]
