Abstract

A study conducted by the University of Bordeaux in France evaluated the waning of IgG antibody responses after two Ebola virus disease vaccines, rVSVDG-ZEBOV-GP and Ad26.ZEBOV, MVA-BN-Filo. The research found that antibody concentrations decreased after vaccination, with different kinetics for each vaccine, and were higher in children compared to adults one year after vaccination. Factors such as geographical location, pre-vaccination antibody concentration, and sex also influenced antibody concentrations. This study provides valuable insights for future Ebola virus disease control protocols. [Extracted from the article]
