Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers from Ohio State University focused on evaluating prognostic factors in patients with high-risk classical Hodgkin lymphoma undergoing autologous transplantation. The study, known as ECLIPSE, included 478 patients and found that the 6-month and 1-year cumulative incidence of nonrelapse mortality after auto-HCT were 0.9% and 1.1%, respectively. The research highlighted the safety and long-term efficacy of auto-HCT, even in patients with high-risk disease traditionally considered chemotherapy refractory, providing valuable insights for ongoing transplant vs no transplant trials.
