Abstract
- If various behaviors based on driver habits are directly reflected in parking situations, it can cause damage to other drivers, such as blocking the path of other vehicles or parking without enough space for the next vehicle to park, which can lead to accidents. For this reason, this research proposes an automatic parking assistance control system that applies an adaptive algorithm that changes the control sensitivity of the vehicle controlled by the driver in real-time based on information about the parking environment that changes in real-time. Based on the information obtained while controlling a vehicle in a virtual parking lot, it was confirmed that the control sensitivity was appropriately changed depending on the parking situation based on a settling time of approximately 1 second. As a result, it is expected to assist drivers in efficient and standard parking in various parking situations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
