Abstract
- This article explores the use of movies as a pedagogical tool in higher education, specifically for teaching management. The literature review based on Scopus from 2013-2023, categorizes 820 articles, with 11articles meeting criteria for review. Findings indicate that using movies enhances learning effectiveness, engagement, and enjoyment among students compared to traditional methods. The study recommends incorporating movies into management education for interactive classrooms. However, it acknowledges limitations in focusing solely on management courses and suggests exploring other databases for a broader perspective. Practical implications include improved engagement, catering to diverse learning styles, and fostering cultural sensitivity, while social implications highlight benefits and challenges, such as misrepresentation and compromise in academic rigor. The study's originality lies in addressing the educational efficacy of roleplays and emphasizing increased student engagement. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
