Abstract

A recent study conducted in Hamburg, Germany, evaluated the clinical outcomes of patients who underwent self-expanding transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) using an optimized cusp-overlay technique (COT) at one year. The study found that the COT-TAVR procedure was feasible and safe, resulting in improved outcomes related to paravalvular leakage and new onset left bundle branch block. However, no significant difference was observed in the need for permanent pacemaker implantation one year post-TAVR. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into invasive cardiology practices. [Extracted from the article]
