Abstract

Scientifically quantifying the industrial carbon emission efficiency of the Huaihai Economic Zone and analyzing its network structure characteristics are of great significance for promoting its industrial low-carbon development. This paper adopts the unexpected output SBM model, gravity model and social network analysis methods to analyze the spatial network structure characteristics of industrial carbon emission efficiency in the Huaihai Economic Zone from 2010 to 2020. It is found as follows. ➀ The industrial carbon emission efficiency of the Huaihai Economic Zone has improved rapidly, and overall, it presents a "convex" spatial pattern with a high level in the area along Xuzhou-Heze and a low level on its both sides. ➁ During the study period, the network correlation number, network density and network efficiency of the spatial correlation network of industrial carbon emission efficiency in the Huaihai Economic Zone decreased, the network grade increased, and the robustness of the network structure needed to be strengthened. The absolute centrality of Xuzhou in the network has been strengthened, and the coordination of development needs to be improved. ➂ Using the block model, the Huaihai Economic Zone is divided into net beneficial plate and net spillover plate, and there are few internal connections between the plates.
