Abstract
- A study conducted at the University Hospital Complex de Vigo in Spain explored the use of ciprofloxacin for treating infections caused by carbapenemase-producing Gram-negative bacteria (CP-GNB). The research involved 19 adult patients who received ciprofloxacin monotherapy, with outcomes including clinical failure and mortality rates. The study suggested that ciprofloxacin could be considered as an alternative treatment for certain stable patients with ciprofloxacin-susceptible CP-GNB infections. [Extracted from the article]
