Abstract

A study conducted at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal, focused on assessing dental anxiety levels in patients referred for dental implants as a prosthetic option for missing teeth. The research found that a significant portion of patients exhibited some level of dental anxiety, with younger age groups and those with formal education showing higher levels of anxiety. The study suggests that dental practitioners should consider patients' anxiety levels before performing dental implants to improve patient management strategies and outcomes.
