Abstract
- Recent research from the Federal University Santa Maria in Brazil has focused on developing pediatric-friendly oral suspensions of pyrimethamine for treating congenital toxoplasmosis. The study found that the suspensions were stable, had fast dissolution rates, and met microbial safety requirements. The research concluded that these oral suspensions are easy to prepare and contain safe components, providing an alternative treatment for congenital toxoplasmosis in children.
