Abstract
- Researchers from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences conducted a randomized controlled trial to investigate the therapeutic effects of flaxseed oil on Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD). The study involved 60 NAFLD patients who were assigned to either a flaxseed oil capsule or a placebo group for 2 months. Results showed significant improvements in liver enzymes and metabolic parameters in the flaxseed oil group compared to the placebo group, suggesting that flaxseed oil may be a promising intervention for NAFLD. This research was peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into potential treatments for liver diseases. [Extracted from the article]
