ANNOUNCEMENTS.

The article offers updates on the Operations Research Society of America. The second annual meeting of the Society will be held in Chicago, Illinois on May 21-22, 1954, which will be inviting papers on topics in Market and Sales Research, Inventory Control and Scheduling of Purchasing and Production. The Society will be holding a national meeting in Washington, D. C. in November 1954 with John L. Everett as the Program Chairman. The Society's Washington Section was organized and approved by the Council during its meeting in November 1953.
