Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Duke University introduced a new tool, the Cardiovascular Disease Pathogenicity Predictor (Cvd-pp), designed to help differentiate between pathogenic and benign variants in cardiovascular disease genes. The model demonstrated high accuracy in prioritizing variants with changed clinical significance and in identifying individuals with dilated cardiomyopathy. This research could potentially aid in genetic diagnosis and large-scale genomic sequencing studies related to cardiovascular diseases.
