Abstract
- Researchers at the University of Health Sciences in Turkey conducted a study on the relationship between Sirtuin 1 and Sirtuin 2 expression and clinicopathological parameters in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. The study found that high levels of SIRT2 expression were associated with longer overall survival, and that high expression of both SIRT1 and SIRT2 correlated with longer survival times. The research suggests that SIRT1 and SIRT2 may suppress tumor growth in NSCLC and serve as positive prognostic indicators. [Extracted from the article]
