Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Qatar has produced a large ultrasound image dataset of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) from Saudi hospitals. The dataset includes 10,352 high-resolution ultrasound images from 384 patients, each meticulously annotated with NAFLD Activity Score (NAS) fibrosis staging and steatosis grading based on liver biopsy results. This resource aims to support the development of AI algorithms for accurate NAFLD diagnosis and staging, providing a valuable tool for researchers in the field of medical imaging.
