Abstract

In sports, moral education is oriented towards fair play, ethics, and deontology specific to the field of practicing physical exercise. The specialists of the field are currently looking for the most effective methods of anti-doping education, which will be effective in relation to the peculiarities of the young generations of athletes. Therefore, even at the level of anti-doping education, initiatives have emerged to capitalize on the benefits of using VR/AR in educational programs for young athletes, this direction of action being in line with WADA priorities. The aim of the paper is to provide a model for approaching the process of identifying the characteristics of users of VR/AR applications in the field of anti-doping education. The research is based on an online questionnaire, applied to 258 students/athletes from UNEFS Bucharest. The conclusions emphasize the athletes’ opinions regarding the doping phenomenon and present some possible directions for developing the serious games addressed to antidoping education.
