Abstract
- The article provides information on CareerSystem, an online career database service from General Database Technology of West Palm Beach, Florida. As of February 1985, there are more than 60 major companies in the country that are recruiting candidates for professional, managerial and technical jobs through CareerSystem. Corporate users of the database pay an annual subscription fee plus connect time charges to search the database containing 60,000 individual resumes. Some of the corporate subscribers of CareerSystem include American Express, Prudential Insurance Co. and Automatic Data Process (ADP).
