Abstract
- The article features the PROMT database from Predicasts. There are new types of record added to the PROMT database, including annual reports, news releases, brokerage form reports, Securities and Exchange Commission new corporate filings. The only flaw of the PROMT database is its Full Text feature. Most of the records of PROMT maintain their conventional form, which features a citation and long abstract with Predicast codes and descriptors. However, in the spring of 1990, the full text version of the long articles will be featured as a non-searchable display format.
