Abstract
- This article focuses on the structural aspects of human memory and some of its educational implications. The discussion is largely based on studies using typical verbal learning paradigms, reaction time studies and experiments on information processing using a tachistoscope. A brief review of literature on structural aspects of human memory indicated that the weight of the evidence is in favor of a multiple storage system comprised of the sensory storage or register, a short term store and a long term store.
