Affordable National Telephone Directory.

The article reports that ProCD Inc. is shipping ProPhone-National Edition, a collection of three CD-ROMs containing most of the nation's residential and business telephone directory listings. ProPhone currently contains listings from every city in the U.S. ProPhone's list price is $349, however, for a limited time, ProPhone is available from ProCD and its authorized distributors at the special introductory price of $179. ProPhone consists of a Business disc, the Eastern Residential disc, and the Western Residential disc. The Business disc contains the names, addresses and telephone numbers of substantially all of the nation's businesses. ProCD, based in Marblehead, Massachusetts, currently co-publishes two other fully indexed telephone directories on CD-ROM that are updated monthly.
