Knight Ridder Adds Denver Post, IAC, and NewsBank.

In addition, Information Access Group, Foster City, California, and NewsBank Inc., New Canaan, Connecticut have been added as distributors for the business-news service. Knight-Ridder/Tribune Business News is a unit of Knight-Ridder/Tribune Information Services, a joint venture of Miami, Florida-based Knight-Ridder Inc. and Chicago, Illinois-based Tribune Co. The electronic news service delivers business and related news to executive desktop PC users, researchers, the media and others. The service's sources of news include all 30 Knight-Ridder newspapers and magazines, all six Tribune newspapers, and 20 affiliated papers. The articles from the newspapers and magazines are full-text and are available electronically the day of publication. Also, the service includes news from the Knight-Ridder Financial News Service. The addition of Information Access and NewsBank brings to 15 the number of distributors for the business-news service, which was launched in January 1992.
