Wilson Expands Coverage.

This article reports that as a result of an in-depth content study conducted by the Committee on Wilson Indexes of the Reference and Adult Services Division of the American Library Association, Art Index and Social Sciences Index have expanded their list of periodicals. Art Index has broadened its scope and expanded its coverage of information crucial to academics, general readers, and professionals in the world of art. With the inclusion of 71 additional periodicals, Art Index now indexes 268 periodicals from cover to cover. Social Sciences Index, a reference source for more than 80 years, has expanded its list of periodicals to 415. The indexing of 94 additional periodicals is effective with the June 1994 issue of Social Sciences Index and will commence with the January 1994 issue of each periodical. Social Sciences Index helps users keep up with the latest concepts, theories, and methodologies, and covers the topics that form the focus of college and professional papers.
