COMMITTEE REPORTS.

This section offers updates from the different committees of the Art Libraries Society of North America as of June 1991. The 1990 Art Documentation and ARLIS/NA Update Advisory Board focused on a review of the past activities of this group. The purpose and goals of the board were covered at the 1991 business meeting of the group. On March 12, 1991, the Cataloging Advisory Committee held its annual meeting, in which the committee discussed several important issues. One of which was the proposed use of the Cataloging Section column in "ARLIS/NA Update" as a forum for a collective tracking project focused on local subject headings.
