Abstract

The article presents a case study on the practices of outstanding science and math teachers . The authors assert that much could be learned from case studies from the best science and mathematics teachers. Also,they believed that such case studies of exemplary practice could lead to improvements in science and mathematics teaching by motivating and guiding teachers’ attempts to improve their practice. They conducted intensive classroom observations of teachers who were nominated and invited to participate in the study.
