Abstract

The article reports developments in the horse racing in New York, in the September 1972. John Tweedy, who directs the Meadow Stable disclosed that a tranquillizer had been given to the Riva Ridge before he ran in the Monmouth Invitational Handicap. La Prevoyante, came back to the Spa and picked off the Spinaway Stakes, as her stable had planned. Manchu Prince won a scamper over the hurdles at Saratoga.
