Abstract

The article reports that a conservation law in physics first stated in 1958 has been demonstrated to hold true. C. S. Wu of Columbia University in New York performed the experiment on the nonconservation of parity in the weak interactions and has made measurements showing that a quantity called vector current is conserved in these interactions. By implication, it means that pions, nucleons and muons can decay through weak interaction.
