Abstract

The article emphasizes the need for the hospitality industry to make changes in its energy efficiency system amidst the rising energy cost in Great Britain as of February 2006. According to industry executive David Clark, if the catering industry does not start to make changes, it runs the risk that decisions will be made by those who do not understand the operational requirements and constraints of the industry. The industry is one of the largest energy consumers in the commercial marketplace.
