Abstract

The article comments on the relationship between journalism and politics in Great Britain. The author argues the impact of the increasing interconnectedness of media and politics on the public and on the functioning of the wider political culture. The author also discusses the problem of traditional forms of journalism in attracting the Internet generation. This paper is also an attempt to develop a formal approach to comparative research on media and politics. It also offers information about the action taken by the government to address the media-political crisis.
