Abstract
- The article reports on the call to manufacturers to plan the management of their greenhouse gas allowances under the 2005 European Union Emissions Trading Scheme. Operators are required to hold permits for Schedule 1 activities, which includes energy activities that affect food and drink manufacturers. They should have enough allowances to cover actual emissions.
