Abstract
- The article describes an unusual case of abnormal accumulated glycogen and sarcoplasmic masses in a Spanish-bred filly. Based on the histochemical and ultrastructural findings conducted, the authors asserted that the filly had a neuromuscular disorder characterized by sarcoplasmic masses with abnormal accumulations of glycogen after observing the presence of sarcoplasmic masses in glycolytic myofibers.
