Explication and Sharing of Design Knowledge Through a Novel Product Design Approach.

The article describes a knowledge explication and sharing strategy, particularly on the knowledge management of modular product design. The approach requires the modeling of modular products, the formulation of the explicit knowledge, the discovery of new design knowledge with data mining, and the sharing of information with web services technology.
