Abstract
- This article discusses the ramifications that the death of terrorist Abu Muusab al-Zarqawi has on U.S. military operations in Iraq. Even with the post-Zarqawi prognosis for Iraq unclear, a loud debate erupted in the U.S. government over when to bring the troops home. Also discussed is Abu Ayyub al-Masri, seen to be al-Zarqawi's successor.
