- The article profiles Greta Garbo, a film actress in the U.S. Garbo has achieved fame and success, which culminated through her latest film "As You Desire Me." At what may seem to be the pinnacle of her career, Garbo has decided to go back to her native country of Sweden. She was different among other Hollywood actresses in that she would sometimes provide odd comments to the public about its popular philosophy, its esthetic theory and its soul.
