Abstract
- This article introduces Ronald Astin, a Vinson & Elkins partner, who sent a memo to the management committee of his law firm in Houston, Texas. Astin complained that he should be receiving a higher paycheck for work that he was doing with a Vinson & Elkins client called Enron. This article describes how Vinson & Elkins is more than happy to give Astin that credit in the midst of the Enron class action lawsuits.
