Abstract

The article discusses the reasons for optimism about the development of legitimate scientific and engineering base for science education in the U.S. The demand for flexibility and ability to continue learning has become so little in engineering that institutions have been forced to enhanced the educational process by implementing new technologies. On the other hand, to assure equal opportunity in the engineering field, public education must provide a foundation for all children that can allow them to enter the scientific and technological field.
