Abstract
- The article analyzes the poetry in the manuscript "4QInstruction." The author emphasizes that the alteration between bicola and tricola and the dominance of grammatical parallelism within and between verses is an important aspect of the text. The poem's verses is similar with the language and syntax of the biblical commandment to honor parents in Exodus 20:12 and Deuteronomy 5:16.
