THE RELATION OF THE STATE TO THE SUPPORT OF EDUCATION.

The article focuses on the results of the survey that shows the educational opportunities available in communities and the ability of local school units to support schools in the U.S. It resulted in a consideration given to the need for equalization of educational opportunities. However, it was acknowledged that there is no compatibility between the equalization of educational opportunities and the recognition of local effort.
